The 2008 Head of the Genesee Regatta will be held on October 11th and 12th at the Genesee Waterways Center in Rochester, NY. The 2-day event will focus on providing
a competitive rowing event for Masters, Open, High School, and Collegiate crews.
Once again this event will bring people to the banks of the Genesee River to celebrate
the sport of rowing in a magnificent natural setting within Genesee Valley Park.

This might well be Ted Curtis's last year in helping with the regatta. Ted Curtis has supported the
regatta in many ways since its inception, including skippering the
start boat for every single regatta. Ted has a
long history of promoting the use of the waterways
in our region, having served many organizations with
the goal of increasing the economic and recreational
development of the waterways. Ted is the founder of Corn
Hill Navigation, which operates packet boat cruises on our
area's waterways. You can read further details of Ted's contributions
